Project "Safe"
Project "Safe" is an ongoing volunteer project through which safety and security modifications are made to the homes of low-income seniors and the handicapped. We initially kicked off this project on Family Matters Day, on November 20th, 1999. This national family volunteer day is an initiative of the Points of Light Foundation designed to connect and strengthen families and connect entire communities through promoting volunteerism among families of all types and sizes.
